Each free card is a Virtual or Platinum card with no issuance fee. It comes with a $0 balance.
Your 12-month window starts on the day of your first stake. Every free card claimed in the current window counts toward your current tier's allowance. For example, if you used 2 at Preferred and then moved up to Signature, you have 8 left.
Unused free cards don't roll over to the next window.
How to claim
Free cards can be claimed 7 days after your stake first reaches the tier's minimum, as long as it stays there. Your identity must be verified.
Go to Staking → Free cards and choose Claim.
Issue a new Virtual or Platinum card as usual, and the issuance fee is waived. Create it before your window ends.
You can hold one unused free card per card type at a time.
The 15-card limit
Everyone, Private included, can hold up to 15 cards at once. If you're at 15, close a card before claiming another.
