Prohibited Merchants & Blocked Transactions
To keep your SolCard active and secure, it is important to follow card network restrictions enforced by our issuing partners. SolCard currently issues only Mastercard cards under two types:
Mastercard Full Access
Mastercard Online
Violating the merchant restrictions below may result in immediate card cancellation and funds being frozen without notice. These rules are enforced automatically.
Mastercard Full Access
These cards have high trust and broad access, but the following merchant types remain strictly blocked due to compliance and AML restrictions.
Blocked Categories:
Pornography
Gambling & Betting
Drugs & Controlled Substances
Medical Devices & Equipment
Money Services (money transfers, quasi-cash, payment processors, financial institutions)
Note: While most blocked merchants will simply result in a declined transaction, SolCard reserves the right to cancel cards and freeze balances if users abuse the system or attempt repeated restricted transactions.
Mastercard Online
This card type has stricter rules and monitoring. Transactions with the following merchants will result in immediate cancellation and frozen funds:

Blocked Usage Behavior:
10 consecutive declines due to insufficient balance
A total decline rate above 20% (1 in 5 transactions fail)

Even a single transaction at a blocked merchant can lead to permanent card deactivation and frozen balance for Mastercard Online cards
